Kelly's Korner vol.4

Welcome to the 4th Kelly's Korner!

And we're back! Last week we took a break from Kelly's Korner since I was travelling for a trade show (did you catch some of the fun on Insta stories?) and then attended my college reunion in Nashville. Can't wait to hear what you all think of this week's roundup! 😍

In case you missed it, the jist of Kelly's Korner is a quick roundup of things I found interesting, entertaining, fashion-forward, funny or helpful!

I've had a pretty busy (but fun!) few weeks. Here's what caght my eye:

1. I spent last weekend at my college, Vanderbilt University, reunion in Nashville. Nashville is today’s hot spot. But before it was “cool” and the it-spot for bachelorette parties, it was my college town: authentic, fun and the best kept secret of the south! The traditional spots and live music can still be found (actually, live music is everywhere!), and now there are even greater foodie spots. Here is a list gathered from my Nashville friends Camy and Liz, my super trendy hairdresser Kris (who just moved back from living in Nashville for a couple years) and myself 😉.

This trip, we were mostly on campus, but here are the places we hit up:
  • 5th and Taylor in German Town — awesome food and atmosphere
  • Top of The Westin for infinity pool, cabanas and sunset — cool vibe for sophisticated drinks after dinner
  • SatCo — tour Vanderbilt campus and then grab causal tacos on the deck at SatCo.

Newer on the scene – and “it” girl approved:

Old Standbye’s/more off the grid:

Also,
2. Celeste Barber - If you aren't following this woman, you definitely should. She's absolutely hilarious (she re-creates celebrity moments in her everyday life) and adds some fun to my Instagram feed! Click the link below to watch one of my faves.

3. With all of the fun summer wine nights and recent travel, my body is due for a reset.  I always fluctuate about 10 pounds and I’m good with that.  I’m super boring when I get crazy about my eating and exercise, and honestly life is too short not to enjoy your family, friends, and hubby.  So eat out, drink wine, but also exercise and enjoy things in moderation.

Awhile back I did Fitness Carli’s 14 day meal plan and loved it.  I loved it because it’s “realistic, simple and sustainable” and allows for carbs and sugar (two things I really like).  The 14 day plan is $25.00 and totally all you need.  I just bought the 28 day plan because Carli added new recipes and tips, so I thought I’d be more engaged.  Again, I get nada for my recommendations.  I just authentically share what’s going on in my life.  If you want to simplify the shopping and save a few bucks on groceries, you can also repeat a few days in a row to keep the recipes the same.  Keep me accountable!!!! Reply to this email if you’re going to join me 😉 I found the code “Insta” for $5.00 off the 28 day meal plan
"My meal plans are for busy girls wanting a realistic way to eat that will promote results. They are simple, affordable, and sustainable.  I provide a stress free meal plan that doesn't require hours in the kitchen!" - Carli
