Overview

We are hiring a creative and driven Social Media Associate to join our team! This individual will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of social media campaigns across Itzy Ritzy’s social platforms. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, the Social Media Associate will play a key role in executing strategy across Itzy Ritzy’s social channels, with a primary focus on Instagram, TikTok and other emerging channels. The ideal candidate will be fully immersed in the social landscape, and proactively stays up-to-date with lifestyle, cultural and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, curate and publish/schedule social content to maintain social presence and foster community engagement on all social media platforms, with a primary focus on Instagram and TikTok (familiarity with Sprout Social is a plus!)
• Bringing fresh, on-trend ideas to the table for how Itzy Ritzy can further connect with our core audience and reach new expecting parents
• Manage day-to-day posting and performance monitoring across social channels
• Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to plan engaging, on-trend content across social channels
• Collaborate with Director of Brand and Social Media Manager to strengthen community connection and engagement, and ensure content reflects Itzy Ritzy’s brand identity
• Managing our tight-knit online community, including responding to DMs, comments, mentions, and fostering an inclusive and welcoming experience
• Have a strong understanding of social media trends
• Work closely with the Marketing team to align content with broader campaigns and messaging
• Identify and engage with key influencers or brand partners that align with Itzy Ritzy’s brand identity and goals
• Collaborate with the Wholesale Team to support social and marketing initiatives for our retail partners (i.e. Target, Walmart, Amazon)
• Work with content creators and influencers to generate lifestyle content

Skills

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and ever-changing trends
• Comfortable on camera (on Instagram Lives and filming content)
• Experience in social media content creation
• Strong familiarity with Canva or similar graphic design tools
• Familiarity with Sprout Social, Iconosquare or other performance data tracking platforms, a plus
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment; ability to work against tight deadlines and execute multiple projects/campaigns
• Creative thinker; ability to think outside the box and create unique social media campaigns
• Collaborative worker and team-player; ability to work with various partners and team members across different projects
• Organized, adaptable and detail-oriented
• Eager, positive attitude

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1-3 years experience in social media management, digital marketing or related roles
• Must be comfortable on camera and filming content
• Must be based in the Chicagoland area
• Must be available for two days in-office at our headquarters in Naperville, IL
