Welcome to the 5th Kelly's Korner!
Welcome back to Kelly's Korner! I'm really excited about the roundup this week. Thanks to everyone who replied to last week's email and joined me for the meal plan!
In case you missed it, the jist of Kelly's Korner is a quick roundup of things I found interesting, entertaining, fashion-forward, funny or helpful!
Here we go! Check out what caught my eye this week:
1. I found the brand Inkkas at the high-end women’s boutique called Marcus (recently one opened in my town, Naperville). I found Marcus because I watch The Profit (similar to a Shark Tank-type of show) hosted by Marcus Lemonis. Anyway, while in the boutique, I found these skull shoes and since then have bought 4 more pairs from the Inkkas website (no affiliation). Marcus invests in that brand too.
They are so comfortable. When I’m travelling, I wear my skull shoes for the plane and then they work as my workout shoes, too (if you’re doing cross-fit, or something intensive, you might need to pack a true trainer, too). I literally get so many compliments on these, and the price is reasonable for cool shoes…I was tempted not to share 😉, but friends always share their finds!!!
They are unisex. They machine wash really well too. For me, they run a size large – I’m a 9, but I order the US Men 6/US Women 8/ EUR 39. You could try one pair first, and once you know your size, you can shop their clearance section. Bonus: As part of the OneShoeOneTree project, Inkkas plants one tree for every purchase.
Check out their sale section, too! |

2. Tiny Tip: Fall is in full swing, which means pumpkin everything! I love these Pumpkin Muffins from Trader Joe’s. Instead of using oil, I swap it for pumpkin puree. I also divide the batch and in ½ I add chocolate chips. I bake them all in mini muffin tins for the perfect snack for my littles. They don’t last long! |

I don’t have any finished product muffins to show you, because of course we haven’t had a chance to make them yet! Life is busy. Really busy.
3. Which brings me to my next item…. An inspirational quote that resonates with me and I hope it does with you, too. Keep up the great work mama, you’re doing a great job!
